Until 2023, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Brummer & Partners MathDataLab at the Department of Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Wojciech Chachólski and Prof. Dr. Martina Scolamiero.
Before that, I completed my PhD in Technical Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michael Kerber at Graz University of Technology. Prior to that, I received a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Technical University of Berlin and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from University of Bonn.
My main mathematical interests are in the field of Applied Topology, particularly Topological Data Analysis and Persistent Homology. My research is influenced by different areas of mathematics, such as algebra, computational mathematics, geometry, topology, and others. There is a strong focus on immediate applications in data science and machine learning.
The projects of my PhD thesis consist of improvements to the pipeline of multiparameter persistence. For an overview of these projects, see here.
I left academia in 2023.
